Wednesday, 23 December 2009 12:27

On February 10th 2010 the DIGI Exhibition will be opening at the University of Tasmania NEW gallery.

UTASDIGI will feature digital art work created by Brad Allen, the founder of Scarab Design Advertising Agency.  DIGI will take advantage of Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) technology introduced to Launceston by the HIT Lab Australia.

The exhibition will feature original digital prints by Brad Allen which will be display in the NEW Gallery, and the HIT Lab AU will set up two technology based stations:

1) Augmented digital contents will be digitally superimposed on an actual digital art work to provide new and different perspectives to the digital prints.

2) A two-seat custom-made theater will be equipped with a 3D stereo display for delivering 3D static and dynamic digital contents from the exhibition.

The exhibition will be open from 10th February 2010 until 26 March 2010 and admission is free.

View the HIT Lab website for more details about the exhibition, or to RSVP for the opening of the exhibition.
